Egyptian television anchor Bosayna Kamel
The National Council for Women has voiced deep concern at the attack on media woman Bosayna Kamel in Dokki neighborhood in Giza. Kamel was attacked by supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi, who destroyed her car
as she passed by a Muslim Brotherhood march on a side street in Dokki district in Cairo.
Residents came quickly to her rescue, but still Kamel had several bruises.
The NCW, in a statement Monday, strongly condemned such behavior that violates human and women's rights.
It said it will support any legal action by Kamel and any other Egyptian women who falls victim to such acts.
