Dr Aisha Al Nuaimi, Associate Professor and Chair of Department of Mass Communication at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), has hailed support and patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister and Chairman of National Media Council (NMC) for Mass Communication students at the University.
She added that Sheikh Abdullah's interest comes within his keenness to ensure all advanced equipment and technological capabilities to train and raise their professional competence in various media specialties.
In a related context, Sheikh Abdullah has given his directives to establish Media Innovative Laboratory in the Department of Mass Communication at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU).
Dr. Al Nuaimi also said that thanks to NMC's generous support, a sophisticated laboratory has been already established, which provides advanced programmes in the design and direction, graphics and other fields.
She also pointed out that the role played by NMC and its cooperation with UAEU in general and Department of Mass Communication in particular, adding that these equipment ensure suitable technological atmosphere for holding training workshops in the Photoshop, editing and others.
