President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus
President Bashar al-Assad on Monday issued decree No. 358 for 2013 stipulating that the university student succeeds exceptionally from one year to another if he/she bears 8 courses at most, whether they were administrative
or not administrative of the different academic years for the studying year of 2012-2013.
The decree also offered the failed students of the higher qualifying and specialisation education of the year 2012-2013 an extra exam term in the studying year of 2013-2014 and other exam session to those who have used up the opportunities to submit to exams from outside the university for the two studying years of 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.
It granted students of Master's degree who have failed, transferred or used up their opportunities for the exams of 2012-2013 an extra exam term during the studying year of 2013-2014.
