Capital Club, Dubai’s premier private business club and member of the ENSHAA group of companies, and INJAZ UAE, a member of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, are due to host corporate volunteers and star students at the first 'Empowering the Youth: Futurepreneurs in collaboration with INJAZ UAE’ event on Sunday, May 31st. Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in an evening of inspirational discussions about the organization’s work and the importance of youth business mentorship.
INJAZ UAE, which functions as a partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers to inspire youth and prepare them for the corporate world, helps bridge the gap between work and education by equipping students with the necessary skills to become tomorrow’s business leaders and qualified professionals. At Sunday’s event, guest speakers, and INJAZ UAE volunteers, Abdullah Aletr, Karim Seifeddine, Wajih Atallah and Dana Salloum, and Amnah Al Mesmari, Asma Al Obaidli, Maha Yaqoot and Mostafa Elsayed, graduates from various universities in the UAE, will share their mentorship success stories and learning journey throughout the INJAZ experience, offering tested methods in developing skills required for entering the workforce with confidence.
Speaking on the event, Christian Horvath, General Manager of the Capital Club, said, “This event allows Members and their guests to learn about the organization’s work and hear firsthand from volunteers and students about their journeys to success and the valuable knowledge they have received during their time working together. Since its inception in 2005, INJAZ UAE has reached over 28,000 students through 3,000 volunteers at 43 schools and universities to date, and the Capital Club is extremely pleased to be able to help contribute to the organization’s continued progress. The evening is bound to inspire all those in attendance and spark stimulating conversations about entrepreneurship and the future of various industries in the UAE.”
INJAZ UAE, which the Capital Club supports annually, connects youth aged 11 – 24 with volunteers who help them realize their dreams and prepare them for the working world. In line with the Club’s purpose and its business and entrepreneurial-oriented member demographic, the business experiential programme provides local and multinational companies the chance to help shape a talented future workforce and acquaint young people with a strong sense of corporate social responsibility. INJAZ’s parent organization JA Worldwide, is one of the world’s largest and fastest growing business education organizations dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through interactive programmes that reach over 10.2 million students a year.
