Zagazig University to freeze cooperation with Turkey

Zagazig University Zagazig University Council decided in its meeting Wednesday to freeze scientific and cultural cooperation with the Turkish government until it reviewed its attitudes toward Egypt. University President Ashraf al-Shehhi said a number of faculties had signed several academic agreements with their Turkish counterparts in order to strengthen relations between the two countries.
Due to the hostile attitudes of the Turkish government towards Egypt's people and revolution, the University council has seen it impossible to continue cooperation with the Turkish universities, he added.
