Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairwomen of the Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Sports, and Head of Abu Dhabi Ladies Club, has praised Emirati professional ice skater Zahra Lari for winning the first place in figure skating at the Reykjavik International Games which took place between 16-25 January in the Icelandic capital.
She also congratulated Lari's family and her coaches for the achievement which she said served as a new incentive for sportswomen to continue training for more achievements.
Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza emphasised that the academy takes great interest in nurturing national talents based on the unlimited support extended by "Mother of the Nation", H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, GWU, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, FDF, and Head of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.
