Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman
Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman attacked Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and the ruling Muslim Brotherhood, accusing him
of "extreme failure" and "wasting the powers of Egypt."
The international public face of the 2011 Yemeni uprising, known as the "Iron Woman" and "Mother of the Revolution,"
stressed that their stay in power will bring "totalitarianism and tyranny" to Egypt.
Karman, a prominent leader and a member of the Shura Council, Islah Party (Reform Party, the political arm of the Brotherhood in Yemen) said on her official Facebook page that Egyptian Brotherhood's "extreme failure" was due to their "confrontation with everyone." She believes it is for this reason they have "lost Egypt's interests."
The Yemeni activist - who led the youth protests against former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh at the beginning of 2011 - said the Brotherhood movement in Egypt is "not a political party" and has "completely failed" in transforming into one.
Majority in Yemen are disappointed for the situation in Egypt, and Yemeni Islamic parties' supporters, especially Yemeni Brotherhood, believe that Morsi is subject to conspiracy, which he will only overcome when he "repeats the needs of the people of Egypt."
