3 new species of migratory birds found in western Algeria

Omar Weld Emarra, a leading natural scientist and conservationist in Algeria, revealed local authorities had monitored huge numbers of the birds, indicting the region’s immense value in terms of biodiversity and ecological balance.
Marking World Wetlands Day, Emarra claimed the area represents one of the most important wetland areas in the world.
