The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo has announced that it is now associated with the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project.
The programme includes the rehabilitation and nursing of wounded baby sea turtles and helping them find their way back to the sea while tracking their progress, the aquarium said.
Visitors can see the half-shelled turtles until April 30, before they are released back into the sea. The aquarium is also holding a naming competition for the baby turtles.
Those interested in participating in the contest can submit entries through the aquarium's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/turtle.rehabilitation).
