Abi Nasr on dual citizenship

Parliament member Naamtallah Abi Nasr thanked the cabinet for passing the draft law which allows Lebanese expatriates to have dual citizenship. According to the law, Lebanese expatriates who were born abroad and only have the citizenship of the country of their birth would now be eligible to apply for Lebanese citizenship as well. "Granting citizenship to expatriates of Lebanese origins is their natural right", he argued, calling upon the parliament to endorse this law which was fully approved by the cabinet.
