Acting Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued on Monday decision number 2581/2017 appointing Ambassador Ahmed Shehab el Din as deputy CEO of the General Authority For Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) for one year.
The decision comes upon recommendation by Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr and following the approval of the Foreign Minister.
Ambassador Shehab served as a plenipotentiary and deputy for Egypt's permanent delegate to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, after serving as an adviser at Egypt's permanent mission to the UN.
He was also an adviser at the Foreign Ministry besides serving at the embassies of the Netherlands and China
