The Arab League conference on sustainable development, which kicked off early Monday, honored a number of Egyptian and Arab prominent figures related to sustainable development field.
Investment and International Cooperation minister Sahar Nasr and Arab League (AL) Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit were among those honored.
As well, head of the National Council for Women (NCW) Maya Morsi and head of UAE's Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak have been honored along with a number of leading Arab women.
