French President Francois Hollande arrived here on Tuesday on an official visit to the Jordanian kingdom for talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan.
A statement released by the Hashemite Royal Court said the talks will focus on means of bolstering cooperation ties and friendly relations between the two countries in the various fields and supporting regional stability and efforts exerted to combat terrorism.
Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Emad Fakhouri, Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji, Amman Governor Khaled Abu Zaid, the Jordanian ambassador to France and the French ambassador in Amman as well as a number of civil and military officials welcomed the The French president upon his arrival at Queen Aliaa International Airport.
Jordan is the last leg of the French president's tour of the Middle East region that included Lebanon and Egypt.
