Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Gamal Al Shobaky expressed his thanks Friday to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the Egyptian authorities for helping Palestinian pilgrims crossing Rafah terminal on way to the holy lands in Saudi Arabia for Hajj.
He said the Egyptian government provided assistance to ease the movement of pilgrims through the Egyptian lands to Saudi Arabia.
About 2,900 Palestinian pilgrims, coming from the Gaza strip or residing in Egypt, are expected to travel to perform this year's Hajj (pilgrimage).
