H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Al Dhafra Region has inspected the site of the Al Dhafra Heritage Festival in Madinat Zayed and reviewed the latest preparations for the launch of the new camel racing season in December.
Sheikh Hamdan visited the camel racing track, the main pavilion, the folk market and other establishments that will host several heritage activities. He also directed the provision of the required services and capacities to ensure the success of the festival and the camel races while offering the required services to racers, participants and the audience.
Sheikh Hamdan also visited the home of a local resident, Mohammed Zayed Al Mansouri, in Madinat Zayed.
Sheikh Hamdan and the other attendees had a friendly conversation, reflecting the desire of the wise leadership to communicate with citizens and determine their needs, and highlighting the deep connections between the country’s leadership and its people.
During his tour and visit, Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied by Mohamed Hamad bin Azzan Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Ruler's Representative’s Court in the Al Dhafra Region, Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Director of the Planning and Projects Department at the Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee-Abu Dhabi, and several other senior officials.
