Minister of Civil Aviation Sherif Fathi left here on Thursday heading for Moscow to ink a protocol to resume air flights between Egypt and Russia, said the media adviser of the Civil Aviation Ministry.
In late 2015, Russia suspended flights to Egypt after a Russian airliner crashed in Sinai shortly after taking off from the popular Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh, killing all passengers on board.
Since then, Egypt has been implementing more security measures at all its airports
