Egyptian Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Aaty, who is visiting Stockholm, chaired a session on improving water quality through wastewater treatment, with a focus on Africa.
During the session, innovative experiences from all over the world on treating wastewater in cities and slums were reviewed.
A presentation was also given on providing clean drinking water for all amid the low quality of water.
Discussions were held on measures required to improve water quality.
The Egyptian minister also attended a session organized by the Water Resources and Irrigation Ministy on adaptation to climate changes to face water challenges in Egypt.
