Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the phone call, they discussed ways to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the UAE and France to serve the best interests of both countries and their people, WAM said.
Sheikh Mohamed and Macron touched on the latest regional and international developments, as well as joint efforts to enhance regional security to fight extremism and terrorism and dry up their funding sources.
Sheikh Mohamed and the French president also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
