Moroccan King Mohammed VI is likely to leave for Jordan later Tuesday to attend the 28th Arab summit, Moroccan press sources said.
The sources added that the monarch's participation at Wednesday's summit comes after years of Morocco's absence from Arab summits.
Morocco has refused to host the 27th Arab summit which Mauritania hosted.
