New judges and a new UAE ambassador have sworn-in before Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, at al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Present at the swearing-in ceremony, which was held on Sunday, were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince; Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC); H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court.
President of the Federal Supreme Court Mohammed Hamad Al Badi and the UAE Attorney-General Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, who took oath before His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, vowed to uphold justice, respect the law and constitution of the UAE and perform their duties with devotion.
New UAE Ambassador to Ghana Khalifa Yousif Al Zaabi have also sworn-in before his Highness Sheikh Mohammed. Al Zaabi pledged loyalty to the UAE and allegiance to the President and swore to uphold the constitution and laws and put the country’s interests over any other considerations while carrying out his duties, displaying a high sense of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
Two new military judges at the Armed Forces have also taken oath before His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Major Sultan Mattar Sultan Al Dhaheri and Major Sultan Saeed Obaid Al Kaabi have vowed to uphold justice and respect the law and constitution of the UAE.
Sheikh Mohammed directed the new judges from the Ministry of Justice and the Armed Forces to be unbiased and faithful and respect the country’s interests and serve its people in order to achieve their happiness.
He also directed the new UAE Ambassador to Ghana to work harder to preserve the reputation of the country abroad and maintain a good relationship with the friendly country of Ghana.
Sheikh Mohammed wished the envoys success in carrying out their responsibilities, while bolstering the country’s position as a country of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
The swearing-in ceremony was also attended by Dr. Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi Al Dhaheri, Minister of Justice; Mohammed Al Bowardi Al Falasi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs; Mohammed Meer Abdullah Al Raeesi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality.
