Minister of Public Works and Housing, Falah Omoush, on Sunday met with the Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy here, Jim Barnhart, to discuss bilateral relations and prospects of enhancing them in the construction sector, especially in the fields of education and health.
During the meeting, Omoush said the cooperation between the ministry and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) covers implementing projects to build schools and hospitals across the Kingdom, expressing his gratitude for the agency's continued support to carry out these ventures with the assistance of Jordanian engineers and consultants.
For his part, Barnhart, who is also Jordan's USAID Mission director, voiced his appreciation for the "advanced" level the Jordanian-American ties have reached in various fields, stressing the importance of boosting them in a way that best serves the two countries' people.
