On Tuesday, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Tareq Amer, Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi, Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, Public Business Minister Ashraf Sharqawy.
During the meeting, the president stressed the need for improving the performance of public sector companies and working on increasing their profits.
The president was briefed on efforts exerted by the government to develop the medical field in Egypt. The meeting tackled preparations for Eidul Adha and measures taken by the government to secure public squares during the feast.
The meeting also touched on efforts exerted by the government to set up a logistics centers nationwide to provide basic foodstuffs for citizens at affordable prices.
