Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will pay a two-day official visit to Algeria, as of Monday, the office of the Algerian prime minister said in a statement Sunday.
The visit comes at an invitation of Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia, the statement added.
It would offer an opportunity for Algeria and Russia to deepen their strategic dialogue and cooperation based on the partnership statement signed in Moscow in April 2001 under the auspices of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the statement said.
