President Paul Kagame of Rwanda said Tuesday Egypt is a major economic player on the African stage.
During a press conference with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Kagame said Cairo is also a key partner to Kigali’s efforts for a better AU future.
Egypt plays a major role in making ‘positive changes’ that affect the African content, the Rwandan president reaffirmed.
He said Kigali eyes closer ties with Cairo to boost cooperation at the African level.
The press conference was held ahead of talks between the two leaders in the Rwandan capital city.
