Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry arrived in Kuwait Monday on a two-day visit to lead Egypt's delegation to the 12th session of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Committee between the two countries.
Shoukry was received at the airport by Egyptian ambassador to Kuwait Tareq Al Qoni and embassy staff along with officials of Kuwait's Foreign Ministry.
He is expected to attend, along with the Kuwaiti Foreign minister, the signing of a number of cooperation agreements and memos of understanding.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez had said the convocation of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Committee comes as part of the two sides' keenness on developing their relations in the various fields to be up to the level of the sisterly relations binding the two countries.
