Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday called for coordinating international efforts to eradicate terrorism.
Speaking at a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, Sisi said his talks with Macron focused on efforts exerted to counter terrorism as well as the latest developments in Libya, Syria and Iraq.
The talks also tackled the reconciliation agreement between the Palestinian Fatah and Hamas movements as well as the issue of illegal immigration, Sisi said.
Sisi expressed hope that his visit to France would be a new starting point for strengthening cooperation and partnership between Cairo and Paris.
