President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will witness on Wednesday morning a ceremony organized by the Awqaf Ministry marking the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday (Al-Mouled) anniversary.
During the ceremony, Sisi will honor eight scholars and young imams from Egypt, Bahrain and France, who have made significant contributions to the religious life through their thoughts and knowledge.
Sisi will deliver an address to the Islamic nation on the occasion.
The ceremony will be attended by Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb, Acting Premier Mostafa Madbouly and Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa
