A parliamentary forum spotlighting the value of tolerance will be held on Thursday. Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla will patronize the forum marking the International Day for Tolerance.
The forum will be attended by officials, Shura Council members, MPs, representatives of institutions promoting human rights, tolerance, peaceful co-existence and interfaith dialogue. Religious personalities representing different sects and religions, heads of the diplomatic missions, media figures and other specialists will also attend.
The parliamentary Human Rights Committee will moderate the forum, which will highlight the principles and values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence marking the Bahraini society. The forum will also underline the key pillars of the reform project initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa
