Mohammed Ibrahim Al Juwayed, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway, has attended the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in the Norwegian capital, Oslo.
The ceremony was opened by Berit Reiss-Andersen, Member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, in the presence of the royal family and Erna Solberg, Prime Minister of Norway, as well as the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Borge Brende.
The Nobel Peace Prize for 2016 was awarded to the Colombian President, Juan Manuel Santos, for his firm efforts in ending a half-century-long civil war in his country.
The ceremony was also attended by a number of members of the diplomatic corps, ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Norway, and a number of Norwegian dignitaries and senior officials.
