1 new MERS death reported in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Health Ministry reported on Friday a new death case of the Corona virus.
In a statement, the ministry said that the number of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) infections rose to 977, including 426 deaths.
The ministry said that 542 cases were discharged from hospitals while nine others are still receiving treatment.
The virus, better known as corona-virus, is new to humans and was first reported in Saudi Arabia in 2012.
