Health Ministry said on Saturday it closed 432 pharmacies and canceled license of 444 others for violating regulations.
This comes within campaigns that aimed to inspect 63,595 pharmacies and 4,692 drug stores during the period from January to October 2015.
In a press release, the ministry seized 24 pharmacies that were illegally selling unregistered Tramadol drug. The campaigns also seized 32 unlicensed stores.
The ministry filed 18,264 police notes against the violating pharmacies and drug stores.
Investigations were launched into the incidents.
