A medical convoy of Al Azhar university has examined 300 patients in Abu Zanima City in South Sinai governorate and gave them medicine for free, Undersecretary of the Health Ministry in South Sinai Khaled Abu Hashem said on Saturday.
In statements on Saturday, Abu Hashem said that this convoy comes within the framework of permanent cooperation between the governorate and health ministry along with medical faculties of Al Azhar.
The convoy comprised all specializations as well as needed equipment along with supplies for carrying out surgeries for free, Abu Hashem added.
Abu Hashem pointed out that the convoy will head Sunday for Saint Catherine city to examine citizens there, then it will stay for three days in El Tor city for the same purpose.
