The first day care centre located in Shams Abu Dhabi will open in 2015.
Burjeel Day Care Centre, managed by Abu Dhabi's premier private healthcare facility, Burjeel Hospital, will provide residents with a broad range of clinical services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It will house 50 consulting suites, two operating theatres, four endoscopy suites, eight recovery rooms, and eight dialysis chairs.
The Day Care Centre will include a unique and specialised wellness centre and cosmetic and anti-aging clinic, as well as a pharmacy, cafe, and retail shop.

Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Managing Director - VPS Healthcare, said, "As part of our commitment to provide exemplary medical care for every guest and expand our first-class healthcare network to serve the emirate. This determined expansion will raise the bar of healthcare provision to higher levels not only in Abu Dhabi but also in the region. Burjeel is keen to spread and extend ‘the art of healing' to neighbourhoods where there is a demand for quality healthcare."
