The Bahrain Medical Clinic in the City of Mecca has treated so far 260 pilgrims – 16 of whom were transferred to Al-Noor Hospital.
A woman pilgrim has also returned to Bahrain in the company of a female nurse after suffering a broken arm, said Bahrain Medical Committee Chairman Dr. Ibrahim Farooq Obaid.
Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh telephoned Dr. Obaid to be reassured about pilgrims’ health and safety, as well as preparations for the days of “Tarwiya”, Arafat and Eid Al-Adha.
Dr. Obaid stressed readiness to accompany Bahrain pilgrims to Mina and Arafat and provide them with all health services and care.
