Civil Defence holds quit-smoking lectures

The Civil Defence General Directorate is holding a series of quit-smoking lectures for its employees in cooperation with the Health and Social Affairs Directorate.
The anti-smoking campaign continues until November 16 which includes awareness lectures, measurement of monoxide in body, provides consultation, guidance and referral of exigent cases for follow-up in the Health Affairs Directorate’s clinic.
The director-general of Civil Defence General Directorate pointed out that these health awareness exhibitions aim to promote employees’ health awareness and build a community devoid of ailments and risk factors.
