Health insurance company Daman hosted a seminar on Saturday to support patients with diabetes as they prepare for Ramadan. Health coaches and educators shared expert advice on maintaining healthy eating habits during the holy month. Event participants also had the opportunity to take part in guided diabetes conversation maps a learning tool to help diabetics internalise their disease in an interactive verbal and visual experience. Dr Alfons Grabosch, Daman's health support manager, said: "We are delighted with the turnout this evening and are pleased to see so many people taking an interest in their health, especially as we prepare for Ramadan. "These workshops are an excellent platform to reach out to those in need, and what better time to do so." From / Gulf News
