Yelizaveta Glinka
Moscow - Itar-Tass

Executive director of Fair Aid Charity Fund Yelizaveta Glinka, also known as Dr. Liza, is sending another group of children from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) to Moscow for treatment.

"I have been staying in the DPR for a week by now. Over that time I have met the head doctors of various medical institutions and have made up a list of medical equipment and medicines needed by hospitals," Glinka told the Donetsk news agency.

"I am taking 14 children aged 0-16 to Moscow for treatment. They need hi-tech medical aid," Glinka, who is a member of the presidential Council for development of civil society and human rights, said.

Some of these children will undergo serious heart operations. "The children will stay in Russia for as long as necessary. Moreover, they can stay in Russia if they consider it unsafe to return to Donbas /after the treatment is over/," Glinka said adding that most of the 100 children sent for treatment to Russia had already returned home.

"About 30 young residents of the DPR are staying in Russia now," Glinka said in conclusion.
