Dubai is hosting the Building Healthcare Exhibition and Conferences in May at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, to discuss the future of healthcare and source the most cutting-edge technologies, products and services available to ensure the efficient management and appropriate development of the region's healthcare systems, both inside and out of the hospital setting.
Organised by Informa Life Sciences Exhibitions, the event will bring together more than 6,000 leading investors, healthcare CEOs, government representatives, IT decision makers, and architects.
Considering the consistent growth in demand for health care in the GCC, there are currently a number of forthcoming investments within the realm, with 22 hospital projects well under way in the region. Specialised Centres of Excellence have been established all over the GCC, such as the Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery in Dubai, UAE, Aspeter in Doha, and Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi. In line with Dubai’s vision of becoming a leading medical tourism hub by 2020, the Building Healthcare Exhibition will provide the platform for the industry to engage with key experts and decision makers.
"The Building Healthcare Conferences will take on a new format for 2016, having been revised to facilitate free movement between the conference streams without an overlap in timing to facilitate the opportunity for attendees to gain the maximum of the provided content. The conferences will feature three days of educational and thought leadership sessions, comprising keynote presentations and panel discussions led by internationally and regionally recognised experts," said Simon Page, Managing Director of Informa Life Sciences Exhibitions.
