The Egyptian Embassy in Berlin organized a high-level workshop under the rubric of "Together we can fight Ebola".
As many as 120 leaders and experts in the German government participated in the workshop, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
Germany's special representative on Ebola Walter Lindner took part also in the event.
Ambassador Mohamed Hegazi underlined that hosting and organizing the workshop by the Egyptian Embassy assures Egypt's keenness to support the Africans in facing this disease according to the directives of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Foreign Minister Sameh Shokri.
The workshop tackled means of enhancing joint cooperation to overcome the disease, he added.
Egyptian Agency for Development and Partnerships donated with more than 600.000 pounds to the countries where the disease spreads namely; Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, Hegazi underscored.
