The anti-inflammatory drug, Cataflam, has not been rescinded by the Health Ministry, an official said on Sunday, denying rumours circulating on social media of its withdrawal from the Kuwaiti market.
This particular drug being sold in Kuwait is manufactured in Switzerland, the ministry's head of drug regulation and supervision Rami Behbehani said in a statement.
It is safe and readily available, added Behbehani, who said that it has been approved by the Ministry of Health drug regulation and supervision department.
He called on the Kuwaiti public to disregard information on medicinal drugs distributed by unofficial sources such as social media unless it is confirmed by the Ministry of Health.
