The aims of the MedHealth 2015 include advancing participants’ knowledge of the latest advancements in the field of global healthcare. Delegates will also exchange innovative ideas and expertise with renowned experts in the healthcare field.
An exhibition featuring the latest innovations in medication, medical equipment and instruments will be showcased alongside the congress. Various Arab and international hospitals, clinics and associations, specialized medical centers, medical facilitators, ICT companies and pharmaceutical, medical equipment, quality consulting and health insurance companies will showcase their products and services at the exhibition.
HMC's participation in this congress, for the seventh consecutive year, reinforces its commitment to provide the safest, most effective and most compassionate healthcare services to each and every one of its patients. It also demonstrates HMC’s ambition to keep pace with the latest developments in global healthcare.
Mohamad Mubarak Al Noimi, Chief of Communication and Chief of Staff for the Managing Director's Office at HMC and a member of the AHF executive board said: "HMC's continuous participation in this annual congress of the Arab Hospitals Federation comes as part of its commitment to benefit from various state-of-the-art healthcare events being held worldwide. As the principal public healthcare provider in Qatar, we are always keen to seize the opportunity to feature our great expertise in the field. In addition, we hope to receive updates about the latest developments and recent best practices in the field, and in turn translate and apply these developments into the clinical, innovative and developmental programs being conducted at HMC year after year".
Al Noimi recalled some of HMC's recent achievements, which include the three newest hospitals, Heart, Al Wakra and Cuban, joining the five other hospitals, as well as the Ambulance Service and Home Healthcare Service, in being awarded Joint Commission International accreditation, which recognizes high quality healthcare organizations.
Ali Abdulla Al Khater, Executive Director of the Corporate Communications Department at HMC and head of HMC's delegation to the congress said: "Our participation in this annual congress of the Arab Hospitals Federation aims to reflect the significant healthcare boom witnessed by Qatar during the past few years, particularly in the public healthcare sector, where the total number of public hospitals has increased to eight - covering various districts and areas of the country. This increase is in addition to several healthcare facilities which are currently under construction, including Hamad bin Khalifa Medical City’s specialized hospitals".
Al Khater added that HMC will also be participating in the exhibition organized alongside the congress, by setting up a pavilion with the aim to introduce delegates to its quality patient-centered healthcare services, its vision and future plans, as well as its clinical and training programs as the corporation makes efforts towards transformation into the first academic health system in the region.
