Hong Kong on Friday confirmed its second human case of bird flu, days after an elderly man died of the virus.
The Centre for Health Protection of Hong Kong has said that it is investigating a confirmed human case of avian influenza A(H7N9) involving a 70-year-old man.
The chronically ill patient went to Shenzhen and Zhongshan on December 13 and returned to Hong Kong via Lo Wu on December 16, according to Hong Kong's Information Services Department.
