Deputy Governor General of Kurdistan province in Planning Affairs, by referring to Iran's abilities in different fields, said that Iran is ready to supply medical equipment to neighboring states. In the inauguration ceremony of medical equipment exhibition in west of Iran, Arsalan Azhari said on Tuesday that Iran has planned for increase of medical tourism and sanitation services in Iraqi Kurdistan. He said an Iranian medical delegation has traveled to Iraqi Kurdistan to consider existing capacities there in the field of health and sanitation. Azhari added that in this concern, a number of Memoranda of Understandings have been signed between officials of both sides and it is hoped that the MoUs become operational soon. The Medical Equipment Exhibition of the West of Iran will be open until September 8, 2011 in Sanandaj, capital of western province of Kurdistan. Health and treatment officials from Iraqi Kurdistan Region attended the exhibition in which 45 manufacturing companies presented their medical equipment.
