His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Al-Safriya Palace the board members of the Reformed Church in America (RCA) and the American Mission Hospital. HM the King hailed the AMH-dedicated efforts to provide outstanding medical and therapeutic services for citizens and residents as well as patients from other countries in the region since early 1920s.
He hailed the standing and reputation of the American Mission Hospital, a medical milestone which contributed to developing health and therapeutic services in Bahrain and the region over 120 years. HM the King commended deep-rooted historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America as well as solid cooperation in all fields.
He took pride in the reputation of Bahrain, a haven that embraced, all along its millennia-old history, all religions, sects and cultures a closely-knit family famed for openness on the world. He commended Bahraini society which is based on fraternity and renunciation of any discrimination, paying tribute to loyal people for their longstanding and authentic hospitality.
