Kuwait Oil Company said on Saturday that it won best research out of a total 63 contenders at the Kuwait Cardiologists Association Conference and Gulf Heart Association Conference, both hosted by Kuwait over the past three days.
The research was conducted by doctors Zuhair Beetar and Osama Madarani, and cardiovascular consultant Khaled Al-Marri, at the department of internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases in KOC's Al-Ahmadi Hospital.
In a press statement to KUNA, KOC described the award as a "unique accomplishment" that supplements other accolades achieved by the company.
The event was attended by healthcare bodies and personnel from several Arab nations and the US.
