Twenty Japanese companies from the healthcare industry are set to participate in Japan Pavilion, Arab Health exhibition in Dubai, which will take place between 30 January and 2 February 2017, where they will showcase the latest health innovations and technologies.
Masami Ando, Managing Director of Japan External Trade Organisation, JETRO, Dubai & MENA, noted that the participation of Japanese health companies in the 2017 Arab Health exhibition is a testament to the special relations between the UAE and Japan and their keenness on working together to exchange expertise.
Ando added that the companies who are taking part in the upcoming exhibition will shed light on the latest technologies, and will showcase a multitude of unique healthcare innovations, for example ultra-thin needles to lesson patient discomfort, new anti-decubitus air mattress system and micro blades for fine incision with unique shape of edge, that have long made Japan a pioneer in the industry.
Ando stated that several established companies who have been working for more than 100 years will be among the participants, as well as a number of emerging companies that have announced new innovations in manufacturing health products in a variety of fields.
Japan Pavilion in 2017 Arab Health exhibition is expected to attract specialists in healthcare industry, including importers and distributors in MENA region, looking to benefit from the scientific progress that Japan has achieved in medical devices and healthcare technology.
According to Masami Ando, Japan takes great interest in its participation in distinguished exhibitions hosted in the UAE, as it considers it a land of rising opportunities.
