Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation signed on Thursday a memo of understanding with Kasr Al Ainy School of Medicine to train and hone the skills of doctors.
Under the memo, the faculty will nominate every year four trainees each in the fields of heart surgery and blood vessels.
Training will run for six months provided that the trainee has ended his internship period as a resident doctor.
The trainees will be approved after an interview with Dr Yacob.
The memo was signed by Dean of the faculty Fathi Khodair and Dr Yacob.
