A 33 year-old Palestinian woman died on Tuesday from of the swine flu virus, known as H1N1, according to Palestinian medics.
The woman died after receiving treatment at Hadassah Medical Center in Israel, Director of Primary Health Care at Palestinian Health Ministry Asad Ramlawi said in a statement.
Around 55 cases infected with the swine flu virus have been admitted to Palestinian hospitals since the beginning of this year, he asserted.
The new fatality brings the number of West Bank Palestinians who died of the virus within a week to three, he added.
