Over 500 physiotherapists, sports physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, rehabilitation & health care professionals, neurologists and neurosurgeons, and family physicians from the Arab World, US, Europe and Asia will gather in Dubai for the Fifth Biennial Emirates Physiotherapy Conference (Physio Dubai 2016), to discuss the latest developments in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice and learn new clinical skills and application.
Emma Stokes, President, World Confederation of Physical Therapy, Ireland, will update the conferees on emerging areas of physiotherapy.
Taking place on 19th - 20th May 2016, the conference will be comprised of keynote lectures, free paper sessions, poster presentations, and pre/ post conference courses and provide a forum for presenting and sharing knowledge and ideas at an academic, conceptual and clinical level.
Physio Dubai 2016 offers a wealth of professional development, and networking opportunities with world known experts and scientists in the fields of:the growing scope of physiotherapy internationally; understanding and the management of pain, and management of low back and shoulder pain.
Amal Alshamlan, President of the Emirates Physiotherapy Society and Chairman of the Conference, said,'' Physio Dubai 2016 will bring world-class researchers and clinicians to disseminate their knowledge and experience in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Physio Dubai 2016 is a platform aiming at bridging the gap between practice and research by providing the latest in the growing body of knowledge and research in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.'' The workshops that will be organized along the scientific program of the conference, she stated, will complement the knowledge gained by learning new skills and clinical applications.
Exhibitors will showcase the latest equipment and technology in the physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
