A UAE-Egyptian mobile volunteer hospital has been established in Cairo to bring medical care to thousands of children and elderly heart patients in various remote areas of the country.
Under the supervision of volunteering senior doctors and surgeons, patients in various Egyptian governorates will gain access to diagnosis and treatment for heart disease.
The mobile hospital was established as a joint humanitarian initiative by the Zayed Giving Initiative, Saudi-German Hospital, Dar Al Ber Society, Ain Shams University, Egyptian Volunteer Society and Emirates Volunteer Association, as part of the 'Heart to Heart' campaign to provide free diagnosis and treatment to under-privileged heart patients.
The mobile volunteer hospital, which was launched in 2002, provides the latest diagnostic and therapeutic services, including surgeries, at a fraction of the conventional cost.
